Ellen Port, Skip Berkmeyer, Barbara
Berkmeyer and Don Bliss - all of whom were recognized on November
2nd at the annual 2006 Player of the Year Reception at Old Warson
Country Club, hosted by the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association.
Port, coming off her quarterfinal performance in the U.S. Women's
Mid Amateur Championship joined Dustin Ashby on the Back Nine on
October 29th. The three time U.S. Women's Mid Amateur Champion
nearly had her fourth at Old Waverly Golf Club in Mississippi and
continues to dominate the local women's amateur golf scene.

Who's Not
Tiger, Oh Tiger - Well
here we have it a Tour Championship that is missing the games top two
players in Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Sure, Stephen Ames is also
missing from the Tour Championship, but he doesn't carry the same weight
as the striped one and lefty. Missing the Tour Championship has become a
regular thing for Mickelson and but Tiger has typically participated.
