Robert Trittler and Jeff Sarni posted a first round 63 at Westwood Country Club. The Persimmon Woods duo will take a two shot lead into the final round Wednesday.
The Benson Memorial features 2-man teams competing in 18 holes of Four Ball and 18 holes of Alternate Shot. Trittler and Sarni will tee it up at 2:00pm in the final round alternate shot format paired with Brett Newton and Paul Neeman of Old Hickory Golf Club who fired 65 in round one.
Nathan Calcari and Andrew Pranger will tee off at 1:50pm with David Rhoads and Dustin Ashby of WingHaven Country Club. Both teams will begin the day 3 shots off the pace. Also at 6-under for the tournament is the team of Ted Moloney and Paul O’Hagan of Greenbrier Hills CC.
